About the role 

An exciting opportunity has opened up in the Data and Analytics Team. In the role, the successful candidate will: 

  • The role will focus on leading data quality improvement initiatives within Davy that delivers value to the business and key stakeholders.
  • Critical focus is needed on developing and embedding a data quality framework including standards, procedures, targets, root cause analysis of gaps, developing remediation plans as well as leading outcome oriented cross-functional working groups.
  • Support an enterprise-wide programme to transform data practices ensuring data is trustworthy and can be used effectively to deliver stakeholder value.
  • Create data quality standards and procedures in line with policies, implementing monitoring solutions to ensure organisational adherence
  • Working closely with business, operations and technology, identify and lead initiatives for sustainable and measurable data quality improvements across people, process and technology
  • Concisely communicate impacts, outcomes and benefits when proposing resolutions to business needs to support the prioritisation decision-making process
  • Develop and produce high quality MI reporting progress and KPI’s

Requirements

About you:

  • 10+ years’ experience in a data quality improvement environment
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the data quality challenges and opportunities organisations face and approaches to sustainably addressing these
  • Experience and understanding of the BCBS 239 principles and the practical application of them
  • Demonstrated competence and understanding of concepts pertaining to Data Policies, Data Management, Data Governance, Data Lineage, Data Models, Data Quality Frameworks, Data Literacy, Metadata Management
  • Strong experience in leading outcome focused change delivered in an agile manner with cross-organisation collaboration
  • Demonstrably strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work and lead independently, efficiently, and effectively under tight timelines
  • A high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with data systems and tools is an advantage, e.g. SQL. Snowflake, Power BI, Salesforce
  • Experience in using AI powered solutions to manage data quality is a distinct advantge
