Company Description

Help shape the next chapter of medicines.ie

medicines.ie is one of Ireland’s most trusted sources of medicines information, providing healthcare professionals and patients across Ireland with reliable, up-to-date information supplied directly by pharmaceutical companies.

Since 2025, medicines.ie has been operated through a joint venture between the Irish Pharmaceutical Healthcare Association (IPHA) and cormeo, an international pharma-tech platform. The partnership combines deep knowledge of the Irish pharmaceutical sector with international technology, expertise and investment.

cormeo brings together specialist businesses including Rote Liste, EXTEDO and Docuvera and is part of Bertelsmann Next within Bertelsmann Investments. This gives medicines.ie access to international expertise, technology, innovation and long-term investment – combining the opportunity to make a real impact in a growing Irish business with the resources and capabilities of an international group.

As we grow the platform and expand the services we offer, we are looking for a Customer Growth & Partnerships Manager to help us strengthen customer relationships, identify new opportunities and play a hands-on role in shaping the future of medicines.ie. This is more than a traditional customer success role. Instead, you will join at an important point in our development, with the opportunity to influence how we work with customers, develop our commercial offering and bring new ideas and services to the Irish market.

Job Description

At the heart of this role is one simple goal: help our customers and stakeholders get more value from medicines.ie while helping us grow.

You will build strong relationships with pharmaceutical companies and other key stakeholders, understand what they need, help them make the most of the platform and identify opportunities for us to do more together.

You will also help us win new business, develop new commercial opportunities and bring customer and stakeholder insights back into the business to influence how medicines.ie evolves.

We are a small team, so this is not a role where you will sit on the sidelines. You will have the freedom – and responsibility – to get involved, make things happen and see the impact of your work.

What you will make happen

Build great customer relationships

You will become a trusted point of contact for our pharmaceutical customers and stakeholders – helping them get the most from medicines.ie from the moment they come on board.

You will:

  • Lead customer onboarding, demonstrations and training.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Help customers maximise the value they get from the platform.
  • Keep a close eye on customer engagement and identify where additional support may be needed.
  • Lead renewal conversations and help strengthen customer retention.

Help grow the business

You will have an important commercial role, spotting opportunities within our existing customer base as well as helping us develop new business.

You will:

  • Identify opportunities to introduce customers to additional services and solutions.
  • Engage with prospective customers and stakeholders and help turn opportunities into new business.
  • Contribute to the development and management of our commercial pipeline.
  • Prepare proposals and presentations and take part in customer negotiations.
  • Bring ideas to the table about where medicines.ie could grow next.

Be a visible voice for medicines.ie

You will help us tell the medicines.ie story and build our profile within the Irish pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.

That could mean participating in an industry event one day, delivering a customer webinar the next, or working with colleagues on a campaign, customer case study or new business proposition.

Bring the customer into the room

You will be one of the people in our business who knows our customers, end users and stakeholders best.

We will look to you to understand what they need, what is working, what could work better and what opportunities they see ahead – and to bring those insights back into the business.

Working with colleagues in Ireland and internationally, you will help translate customer, end-user and stakeholder feedback into improvements to our platform, services and future offering.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who understands the pharmaceutical industry but is equally excited by customers, technology and business growth.

You will ideally bring:

  • At least three years' experience within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
  • Experience in a customer-facing commercial role such as account management, customer success, sales or marketing.
  • A good understanding of the Irish healthcare system.
  • Working knowledge of pharmaceutical regulation in Ireland.
  • Experience working with digital platforms, technology or data-driven tools.
  • Commercial confidence and the ability to recognise and develop new opportunities.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Just as importantly, you will be someone who enjoys getting things done.

You will be proactive, curious and comfortable working independently. You will not need a large team around you to make progress, and you will enjoy the variety that comes with being part of a small, growing business.

If you like building relationships, spotting opportunities and helping shape something as it grows, we would particularly like to hear from you.

Additional Information

Why join medicines.ie?

This is an opportunity to join medicines.ie at a particularly exciting point in its development.

You will have the chance to influence how we grow in Ireland while also being connected to the expertise, technology and opportunities of a much larger international organisation.

We offer:

  • A role where you can make an impact – your ideas, customer insight and commercial contribution will genuinely influence the direction of the business.
  • Autonomy and variety – with a small, highly motivated team and a flat structure, you will have the freedom to take ownership and make things happen.
  • International connections – work with colleagues and expertise across cormeo and its international businesses.
  • Opportunities to grow – access career opportunities across cormeo, Bertelsmann Investments and the wider Bertelsmann Group.
  • Continuous learning – through hands-on experience, professional development programmes and digital training.
  • Flexibility – our formal place of work is Dublin, but the role offers considerable remote-working flexibility.

The role will involve travel within Ireland, including Dublin, for customer meetings, company meetings, conferences and industry events.

If you are looking for a role where you can combine your knowledge of pharma with customer and stakeholder relationships, commercial thinking and the opportunity to help shape a growing business, we would love to hear from you.
