Job Description

What will you be doing?

We're seeking a talented person to join our Corporate Tax Department in Dublin which is responsible for providing tax compliance and advisory services for a wide range of business clients. 

You will be joining a fantastic work environment with a good team atmosphere and work/life balance. You will benefit from learning from established Tax Heads and their broad tax sector experience across a range of Tax disciplines. This knowledge sharing environment will give you the opportunity to broaden your skill set as well as have the opportunity for professional development and progression.

As an Assistant Manager your responsibilities will include: 

  • Managing a portfolio of complex cases, both advisory and compliance
  • Providing exceptional client service and taking responsibility for maintaining regular contact with client team 
  • Ensuring compliance procedures are followed taking account of institute and Irish Revenue guidance where relevant 
  • Providing on the job training/mentoring for junior staff on a one-to-one basis, including technical and procedural matters

Qualifications

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you should have 

  • Significant corporate tax experience gained within the profession and or industry
  • Be a technically capable tax adviser who is able to assist in complex client work
  • Demonstrable experience of managing people
  • Appetite to grow business development skills
  • Strong IT skills 

Professional Qualifications and Education

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA) and/or tax advisor (CTA) or international equivalent
