What is The Role

Are you ready to kick off your career in communications with a global tech leader? Elastic is looking for a Corporate Communications Coordinator to join our high-energy team.

This isn’t a typical “behind-the-scenes” role. You’ll be in the middle of it all, helping us tell Elastic’s story across press, social media, executives, employees, and even the AI models that shape how the world discovers us. You’ll join a team that’s shaping the narrative for one of the most exciting companies in search, AI, security, and observability. We break silos, work as one team, and amplify Elastic’s story everywhere it matters. This is a chance to learn across all areas of communications: PR, social, executive, and internal comms.

If you’re a natural storyteller, a sharp organizer, and passionate about the AI era of communications, we’d love to hear from you. We are open to candidates living in Costa Rica, Canada, and Ireland for this position. 

What You Will Be Doing
  • Keeping our comms engine running, supporting PR campaigns, social posts, exec visibility, and employee comms.
  • Leading the master comms calendar so launches, announcements, and stories are always in sync.
  • Helping draft and schedule social content across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and other social platforms
  • Supporting media relations, from monitoring coverage to preparing briefing documents for Elastic’s spokespersons.
  • Pulling together dashboards and reports to track the impact of our storytelling.
  • Pitching in on events, speaking opportunities, and internal campaigns that bring our culture and brand to life.
What You Bring
  • 3-4 years’ experience in communications, PR, social, or marketing.
  • A great writer and organizer who loves keeping details tight and deadlines on track. You are a whizz at pulling together presentations at a moment’s notice.
  • Digital savvy. You’re at home on LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Reddit, and curious about what’s next.
  • Interest in AI, open source, or tech. You don’t need to be an expert, but you’re curious and eager to learn.
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative team where no two days are the same.
