    Job Description

    As Content & Social Media Executive your role will be to focus on our Irish Sports Direct channels. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing you’ll get to work on some of the biggest sponsorships and brand campaigns in Ireland.

    You’ll be managing:

    • Content Creation
      • Utilize our bank of existing content, whilst also cooking up new and original content ideas, then executing them!
      • Develop engaging copy that grabs attention.
    • Scheduling
      • Work within our tools to build comprehensive social plans & scheduling that can be shared with wider teams & brands to give visibility on upcoming posts & content.
    • Community Management
      • Managing an active online community, responding to comments, and partaking in discussion around relevant topics.
      • Daily monitoring of all social media channels including competitors and similar accounts sharing insight & ideas back with the wider team.
      • Finding trends, #hashtags – and general ‘hack culture’ to ensure as a brand we’re responding to and participating in the right discussions.
    • Communication
      • Be our brand’s social media presence and establish our tone of voice taking direction from our new brand positioning and evolution.
    • Events
      • Attend events & games to capture content reporting on moments within the community (in some instances you might even need to get in front of the camera so don’t be shy).
    • Reporting and analytics
      • You’ll be expected to provide some analytical reporting to creatives and the wider business, demonstrating your skills.
    • Paid media and advertising
      • Working with the paid media team to execute paid-for campaigns, distributing content across the platforms where the consumer lives.
    • Influencer Marketing
      • Owning influencer marketing from identifying potential influencers, relationship building, negotiating contracts and deliverables plus monitoring and analysing results.
    • National and International travel as required; full driver’s license is essential.

    Qualifications

    • Valid drivers license and own transport
    • Meticulous organization and timekeeping within a fast-paced and energetic team that juggle multiple projects and tasks.
    • Attention to detail from a creative and copywriting point of view.
    • Ability to understand and translate brand direction and purpose into social ideas and content.
    • Ability to identify relevant cultural insights and apply these to your creative thinking.
    • Deep understanding of how people engage with social platforms, and how behaviour is changing. Ability to translate data into insights to inform creative strategy.
    • Great facilitation skills – for workshops and creative sprints.
    • An interest in Sport is a must!

    Our Recruitment Team will be reviewing applications and all candidates will receive a response, whether you are successful or unsuccessful. Shortlisted applicants may be asked to confirm a few key details before being booked in for a first stage interview with the Recruiter- this will be behaviourally focussed and centred around how you align with our Culture and Values. If successful we anticipate two further interview stages with the Hiring Manager/wider team which will be more technically focussed and could include a presentation/task so we can see your skills in action.
