Job Description

Contact Centre Agent- Head Office- Santry, Dublin 9. 

Do you thrive in customer-facing positions and enjoy collaborating within a diverse team? We are looking for a Contact Centre Agent in our Head Office to work as part of our dynamic and fast-paced team, reporting into the Contact Centre Manager. As a Contact centre agent you will be working in an environment where the customer is at the centre of everything we do for both GoCar and Europcar brands. You will be responsible for providing a world class customer facing service at every stage of the rental process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, demonstrating empathy and professionalism while providing timely updates.

  • Provide accurate information and assistance to customers regarding products, services, orders, and account inquiries.

  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless customer service delivery.

  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, company policies, and procedures to provide accurate information to customers.

  • Meet or exceed performance targets including response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction metrics.

  • Daily use of various in-house and external systems.

  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Responsible for own health and safety and that of other work colleagues.

  • Undertaking ad-hoc duties.

Your Skills: 

  • Customer Service focused candidates with previous experience in a Contact Centre environment

  • Strong Sales skills

  • Strong ability to meet targets

  • Must be fluent in English – 2nd language advantageous but not essential

  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

  • Excellent administrative skills

  • Full working knowledge of MS Office

  • Problem solving and numerical skills

  • Strong ability to multitask in a busy environment

  • Ability to highlight trends and issues

  • 37.5 hour working week Monday to Sunday. 

  • Be a team player with the ability to work on your own initiative
