About the role 

An exciting opportunity has opened up as a Compliance Senior Associate in our Risk division. This role will give the successful candidate an opportunity to develop their knowledge and experience of financial services regulation and implementation in a fast paced and dynamic regulatory environment.

They will assist experienced compliance professionals in the day to day management of issues arising on the team with a view to ultimately providing advice to business colleagues on the regulatory obligations governing their business area(s), including MiFID, CPC and SFDR in particular.

In the role, the successful candidate will: 

  • Support senior compliance staff in the provision of regulatory advice to the business;
  • Assist with the monitoring of business activities to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory obligations;
  • Leverage technology to develop meaningful management information, including dashboards, KRI’s and other metrics as appropriate;
  • Assist with the regulatory aspects of business projects, as required;
  • Assist with the collation of information for internal and external reporting, including to Committees, Boards and Regulators, working with the wider Compliance Team, including the Head of Compliance, as required.
  • Review business documentation, advertisements, presentations and other marketing material to ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements;

Requirements

About you  

We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills: 

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ financial services experience, ideally in a Risk, Compliance or Audit role
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal;
  • Curious and inquiring nature with ability to challenge collective thinking.
  • Strong information technology capability with a high level of competence in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and ideally Power BI.
  • Strong planning and organisational capabilities with ability to work to strict deadlines.
  • ACOI or QFA qualified or equivalent, or working towards same.
