Compliance Analyst

What does a successful Compliance Analyst do at Fiserv?

A successful Compliance Analyst at Fiserv ensures that our platform compliance department runs smoothly and effectively, ensuring that all card operations changes comply with relevant laws, regulations, and card network guidelines. This involves staying updated on any changes in regulations and assessing their impact on business practices. They act as a key resource for analysing technical platform compliance issues, managing projects, and fostering relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with the Compliance Team to detect and address changes instigated by card schemes and regulatory bodies. Manage the full project lifecycle for compliance-related initiatives, from analysis to implementation, ensuring timely responses to critical changes.

  • Provide third-line support to Fiserv business areas, analysing and assisting in resolving issues arising from production processing or client inquiries.

  • Work on new product development and platform enhancement projects, driving them through their full lifecycle.

  • Build and nurture relationships with clients, card scheme representatives, and other external parties to gather insights on issues and market trends.

  • Support Fiserv business units, such as Marketing and Professional Services, by delivering key business knowledge.

  • Communicate compliance rules to relevant departments to ensure ongoing awareness of Card network change.

What you will need to have:

  • A 3rd Level qualification in Business, IT, or a related discipline.

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the Payments sector, preferably in the acquiring field.

  • Strong analytical skills from both business and technical perspectives, with attention to detail.
