As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will champion brand, category and shopper excellence, ensuring delivery of best-in-class strategies that connect with consumers and deliver sustainable commercial success. You will hold full P&L responsibility and act as a senior client lead, building trusted partnerships with some of Ireland’s most recognisable brands.

This role is ideal for a forward-thinking FMCG leader who combines strategic vision, data-driven decision making and strong stakeholder management with a passion for innovation and team development.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Strategy
  • Lead the client management function with full P&L ownership across your portfolio
  • Act as a senior strategic partner to key clients, building long-term, collaborative relationships
  • Provide expert guidance on brand strategy, category management and commercial planning
  • Inspire, coach and develop high-performing teams to deliver exceptional results
Brand & Commercial Planning
  • Oversee end-to-end development and execution of brand growth strategies
  • Lead annual planning cycles, ensuring robust and commercially optimised plans
  • Evaluate and refine brand plans to drive incremental growth and ROI
  • Monitor external trends and the macro environment to future-proof brand strategies
Execution & Excellence
  • Drive best-in-class brand activation grounded in shopper and consumer insight
  • Oversee agency partnerships, ensuring quality, performance and cost efficiency
  • Use data and performance metrics to optimise campaigns and respond to market shifts
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
Client & Customer Engagement
  • Partner with Customer Controllers and National Account teams to deliver customer plans
  • Support key customer meetings and strategic initiatives
  • Ensure service excellence and delivery against client expectations and SLAs
Business Growth & Development
  • Identify new opportunities across markets, categories and channels
  • Contribute to business growth strategy alongside the Executive Team
  • Lead client tenders and proposal development
  • Expand brand reach through innovative go-to-market approaches
Talent & Culture
  • Champion talent development, performance management and succession planning
  • Create an inclusive, collaborative and high-performance culture
  • Lead recruitment and capability building within your function
Experience
  • Significant senior leadership experience in FMCG, CPG, brand, marketing or commercial functions
  • Proven track record of delivering high-impact brand strategies and growth plans
  • Experience managing P&L, forecasting, budgeting and commercial negotiations
  • Strong understanding of the Irish grocery and pharmacy retail landscape
  • Experience working with or within a distributor model is advantageous
  • Demonstrated success in leading, coaching and scaling teams
Skills & Capabilities
  • Expertise in brand strategy, category management, shopper insight and go-to-market planning
  • Strong commercial acumen including ROI analysis, sales modelling and margin management
  • Advanced stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Confident presentation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and storytelling
  • Awareness of economic, market and industry dynamics impacting FMCG
Qualifications
  • Degree-level qualification in business or a related discipline is beneficial, but not essential
