About the role 

The Business Analyst will play a critical role in the successful implementation and operationalisation of a new product within Davy. Reporting to the Delivery Lead, this role ensures that delivery governance, operational processes, and cross-functional execution are aligned to support a smooth product launch and ongoing service performance. 

The successful candidate will support the Delivery Lead in bridging delivery, operations, technology, and business teams to embed scalable processes, manage delivery frameworks, and ensure readiness across all touchpoints. 

In the role, the successful candidate will: 

Delivery & Implementation 

  • Support the Delivery Lead in executing the delivery strategy for the new product rollout. 
  • Coordinate product squads and enablers to ensure timely and effective delivery. 
  • Track progress against key milestones, identifying and managing risks, issues, and dependencies. 
  • Ensure alignment with Davy’s internal delivery methodologies and governance standards. 
  • Define and embed processes, workflows, and controls required to support delivery of the new product. 

Governance & Reporting 

  • Co-facilitate delivery governance structures, including working groups and steering committees. 
  • Prepare high-quality reporting for senior stakeholders, including status updates, risk logs, and performance metrics. 
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal risk requirements throughout delivery. 

Stakeholder Management 

  • Support the Delivery Lead as a central point of coordination across stakeholders including Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, and senior leadership. 
  • Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders to ensure visibility and alignment. 
  • Build strong relationships across the organisation to facilitate collaboration and delivery success. 

Process Improvement & Optimisation 

  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Implement best practices in delivery management. 
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimise performance. 

Requirements

About you  

We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills: 

 Experience & Background 

  • 3+ years’ experience in delivery, operations, or programme management roles within financial services. 
  • Experience delivering or operationalising new products, ideally within wealth management, capital markets, or banking. 
  • Proven track record of working in complex, cross-functional delivery environments. 
  • Experience working with regulatory and compliance considerations in financial services. 

Technical & Professional Skills 

  • Strong understanding of delivery frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid models). 
  • Strong risk and issue management capabilities. 
  • Proficiency in reporting tools i.e. JIRA & Confluence and managing delivery documentation. 

Soft Skills 

  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills. 
  • Strong organisational and planning ability with attention to detail. 
  • Effective communicator, both written and verbal. 
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.
