Job DescriptionBusiness Analyst – Treasury

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join our dynamic Treasury Function.
Seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Business Analyst with a desire to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment. In this role, you will work closely with business and technology to support our treasury department. You will be focusing on requirements documentation, testing right through to implementation.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Ownership of technical implementation, testing and production roll-out of Treasury and Finance changes and initiatives
  • Proactively interact and communicate with a wide variety of business and technology and third-party stakeholders (Treasury, Operations, IT, Business units, Banks, Third Party Vendors) to understand existing business process requirements and functionality, building productive working relationships
  • Assists in the development of business cases for projects, summarising the costs, benefits, and measurable success criteria
  • Analyse the needs and identify gaps, translate business requirements into technical specification
  • Review of system and payment file specifications to determine impact and future state
  • Engage internal teams and conduct regular validation to ensure requirements are satisfied throughout the implementation process.
  • Track and oversee the project life cycle from analysis through to deployment
  • Support ad-hoc analysis to identify root cause of issues and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Build and deliver concise and effective presentations to communicate complex ideas in easy-to-understand way to different audiences
  • Deliver training to guide users on new / modified system features and processes

Your skills and experience

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business analysis principles and methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills
  • 3+ years’ experience working on projects in a Business Analyst through all stages of the project life cycle
  • Previous experience working in a Treasury/Cash Management/Payments team an advantage
  • Experience with payment file formats including XML and SWIFT ISO20022
  • Comfortable working on multiple activities of varying size and complexity, with conflicting deadlines in a team environment
  • Detail oriented and diligent, with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Make connections between different stakeholder level of understanding and needs
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to influence stakeholders and drive decision making
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, with minimal supervision
  • Willingness and capability to learn new approaches, tools and applications
  • Able to quickly learn complex concepts, processes, systems and technologies via self-directed investigation
