Job Description

What will you be doing?

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Audit team in our Dublin, Sandyford office. You will be responsible for the project management of each assignment including planning, performing and completing the audit process for each assignment.

As Audit Assistant Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Regular discussions with the client to confirm progress, identify solutions to any hurdles and ensure reasonable expectations are met.
  • Identify and highlight any opportunities for S&W apparent from the work undertaken.
  • Assist and perform training of junior staff.
  • Complete assessment forms of audit team members.
  • Perform work in accordance with S&W audit and assignment procedures.
  • Prepare draft accounts/report and completion memo (including identification of control weaknesses or areas of improvement) for review by manager
  • Participate in Ad Hoc projects as they arise

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
  • Demonstrable audit and accounts experience gained within a professional services firm
  • High level of technical knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills, both internally and directly with clients.
  • Capacity to manage projects and to generate engagement with the stakeholders
  • Demonstrable experience of supervising others and delegation of work.
  • Clear ability to organize self and others, such that you can work on several different assignments at one time.
  • Availability and motivation to work directly on site
  • Clearly demonstrate an on-going commitment to personal and professional development through continuing education and development.
  • Experience of FRS102/FRS101 and IFRS
  • Possessing valid driver's license would be advantageous, but is not mandatory
