Business Solutions International (BSI) is a newly established team within International with the objective of providing gold standard business solutions to drive excellence in delivery and innovation for International. Within BSI we have an internal consulting team which focuses on delivery management consulting and PMO projects across International.
As the Associate Director, Launch Execution Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping, delivering, and improving the execution of product launches across international and priority launch countries. Collaborating closely with the Brand Lead,you will oversee the commercial execution of launches, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction throughout the launch lifecycle.
Job Description
Responsibilities
Provide program management support to cross-functional product teams assembled for each disease area, asset, or brand.
Establish and maintain standardized ways of working within launch teams and with top countries and regions.
Use project management skills to integrate best practices within the launch teams.
Partner with the international Brand Lead to define launch governance, develop global launch plans, and set priorities.
Establish and maintain program governance forums for the brand or disease area and act as secretary of these meetings, consolidating agendas, tracking actions, and monitoring risks. Identify, manage, and track launch critical paths and dependencies.
Project manages the development of brand strategic plans within the international cross-functional team.
Lead annual tactical planning and budget building processes, supporting prioritization, budget finalization, and communication across the cross-functional product team.
Implement standardized PM tools and practices to support cross-functional planning, deliverables, and action tracking.
Support tracking of launch readiness KPIs for international and top country teams.
Foster collaboration among launch program and project managers to enable knowledge sharing and consistency in delivering identified strategies.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) required.
8+ years of program management experience in large, complex initiatives, including product launches.
5+ years of experience in commercial, marketing, or launch functions, with experience in both domestic and international launches.
5+ years of experience in the life sciences industry (pharmaceutical, biotech, biopharma, med device, med tech, etc.).
Professional project management training
Desirable Requirements
MBA or Master’s degree.
PMP and/or Agile certification.
