- Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for health providers. Leverage market research and analysis to identify new opportunities.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and prospecting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers at senior levels in providers, including CIOs, CTOs, and related leaders in technology and data.
- Act as a strategic partner with a consultative approach, offering innovative solutions to client challenges, advising clients on the value of our products and services to help achieve their business goals
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Product, Marketing, Clinical, Health Economists, Privacy, etc) to develop compelling solutions and proposals.
- Manage responses to competitive tenders across extended timelines, particularly in public procurements, drawing on resources from across the IQVIA [health technology] business
- Lead negotiations and close complex deals – often multiyear, incorporating multiple solutions and partners - that align with the company’s strategic goals.
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to inform ongoing go to market plans.
- Represent the company at key industry events and conferences.
- Meet or exceed sales and partnership KPIs as agreed upon.
- Bachelors or Masters degree, preferably in an IT, commercial or healthcare-related field
- 8+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or sales
- Proven success in the healthcare industry, ideally with public and private providers and national / regional health systems
- Strong network within the Irish market
- Demonstrated ability to close enterprise-level deals and/or secure strategic partnerships
- Understanding of healthcare operating models, challenges, and compliance requirements and the role that technology and data play in this area
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Experience selling or working with healthcare SaaS/data platforms in a B2B sales environment
- Familiarity with interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, Snomed) and healthcare regulations.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Understanding of AI/ML applications in healthcare is a plus.
- Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and long sales cycles.
