We currently have a vacancy for an Application Developer (.NET, SharePoint) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Valletta, Malta. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or remotely. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your tasks
- Collaborate with the ICT Team, Product Owners and Business Stakeholders on the analysis and design of evolutionary changes, new features, and improvements;
- Design, prototype and develop solutions, according to the prioritized backlog agreed between ICT and business;
- Provide technical support in the information systems’ roadmap, including Azure cloud environment, SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 presence;
- Create and maintain SharePoint Online site collections with multiple sites, unique navigational elements, custom content types and site columns, site pages, web part pages, workflows, retention policies and governance policies;
- Implement task automation and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) for ICT projects;
- Implement the final design of the User Interface (UI) and conduct technical reviews, including source code reviews, and ensuring that the application UI meets usability, functional, and client’s UI guidelines and standards;
- Design, implement, test and maintain integrations with other information systems and platforms;
- Monitor and report on usage (analytics), as well as perform security audits of the system;
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, including solution architecture documentation, operational maintenance manuals, version description documents, release guidelines, and user manuals.
- University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 6 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Experience with .NET (framework 4.x and 6+), C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and ASP.NET Web API, including integration with modern authentication;
- Experience with SharePoint PnP Framework (deployment templates), site and list templates, SharePoint REST API’s, client-side web parts, Custom actions, and PowerShell;
- Experience with one or more front-end JavaScript frameworks, such as Vue JS or React;
- Experience with Azure Active Directory, Azure Blob/Data Lake storage, Azure App Services, Microsoft Graph API and Azure DevOps;
- Experience with IT support in enterprise-level SharePoint;
- Experience with web technologies, including JavaScript, XML, HTML/5, CSS/3, and web design frameworks such as Bootstrap CSS;
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL stored procedures;
- Excellent command of the English language.
