About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Davy as an Alternative Investment Support Associate on a 9-12m Fixed Term Contract basis.

In the role, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Prioritising and completing tasks that ensure funds are accurately priced for each valuation point for a portfolio of private equity funds and hedge funds
  • Identifying and validating pricing variances and large variation movements
  • Studying and reviewing the current pricing system in order to improve productivity, quality and efficiency
  • The execution of capital calls and distributions.
  • The preparation of annual tax statements for client investments in private equity products
  • The preparation and review of financial statements for company investment structures
  • Maintaining relationships with Private Equity Firms and Life Assurance Companies
  • Understanding client relationships and expectations to ensure client deliverables are timely and accurate
  • Ownership of timely resolution of client/investor queries
  • Investigating reconciliation differences during the monthly reconciliation cycle

Requirements

About you

We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills: 

  • Previous experience in fund administration preferred.
  • Can demonstrate experience of internal controls, procedures and interaction with internal audit, implementing change and constantly creating efficiencies in operating model.
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience working in complex investment structures.
  • Must be a team player with the ability to network with co-workers but also have the ability to work independently and prioritise own workflows.
  • Demonstrates a willingness to own the full end to end servicing of a fund
  • Proactive attitude, ability to multi-task and work to tight reporting deadlines.
  • Strong presence and presentation skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent attention to detail, speed & accuracy is a pre-requisite for this role.
