Responsibilities
As an AI Full-Stack Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and building user-facing AI applications that enable self-service analytics and intelligent decision-making. You will develop modern frontend experiences and integrate them with backend services, data platforms, and agentic AI systems.
You will collaborate closely with data engineers, AI/ML engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and intuitive applications that bring AI capabilities to end users.

Key Responsibilities:
Frontend Application Development (AI-Powered Experiences):
Design and build modern, responsive user interfaces using React (preferred) or OutSystems to support AI-driven use cases such as dashboards, chatbots, and AI assistants.
Develop interactive, real-time experiences including streaming responses and dynamic data visualizations.
Backend Integration & API Development:
Develop and manage backend services and APIs (e.g., FastAPI) to connect frontend applications with data platforms, agentic AI systems, and enterprise services.
Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of application integrations.
AI/Agent Integration:
Integrate frontend applications with agentic AI systems powered by frameworks such as LangGraph.
Enable seamless interaction between users and AI agents, including orchestration of multi-step workflows and AI-driven insights.
Data & System Integration:
Connect applications to internal and external data sources via APIs, enabling ingestion of new data and visualization of AI model outputs.
Ensure efficient handling of structured and unstructured data across systems
Cloud-Native Application Development:
Build and deploy applications using AWS services such as ECS and Lambda.
Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards
Enterprise Integration (Security & Identity):
Integrate enterprise authentication and authorization mechanisms, including Active Directory-based identity management and role-based access control (RBAC).
Ensure secure implementation of SSO and compliance with Roche security standards.
User-Centric Design & Product Thinking:
Translate business needs into intuitive application workflows and user experiences. Partner with stakeholders to design solutions that enable self-service analytics and maximize usability and adoption.
Monitoring & Performance Optimization:
Implement monitoring, logging, and performance optimization practices to ensure reliability and responsiveness of applications.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
Work in a cross-functional Agile environment, contributing to continuous improvement of tools, frameworks, and development practices
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
5–7 years of experience in full-stack software engineering or application development.
Strong experience building modern web applications using React (preferred) or similar frameworks.
Proficiency in backend development and API design (e.g., FastAPI, Python, Node.js, or Java).
Experience integrating multiple systems via APIs, including data platforms and external services.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (ECS, Lambda, etc.).
Solid understanding of application architecture, scalability, and performance optimization.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into applications, including working with LLM APIs or AI assistants.
Familiarity with agent-based frameworks (e.g., LangGraph) or orchestration of AI workflows.
Experience building AI-powered user interfaces such as chatbots, copilots, or intelligent dashboards.
Familiarity with OutSystems or other low-code platforms.
Experience implementing authentication, authorization, and SSO in enterprise environments.
Understanding of data platforms and working with structured and unstructured data.
Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or partnering/business development domains is a plus.
Experience working in Agile development environments.

Compensation & BenefitsThe expected salary range for this position, based on the primary location of Warsaw Grafit is 170,100.00 PLN-315,900.00 PLN. Final compensation will be determined by a number of factors, including your skills, experience, qualifications, and location. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus with a target of 15% subject to both individual and company performance.This position also offers an attractive benefits package.
