The name ThousandEyes was born from two big ideas: the power to see what’s not ordinarily possible, and the ability to collect intelligence from vantage points as diverse and global as the Internet. In August 2020, Cisco Systems completed the acquisition of ThousandEyes, which now forms the ThousandEyes Business Unit within Cisco’s Network Services Business Group, and is a foundational component of Cisco’s growing Observability business
What You’ll Do
We are looking for an exceptional Customer Success Engineer to join our team of super heroes. You will have the opportunity to be the customer interface of an exciting new technology. The CS Engineer is a member of the ThousandEyes Systems Engineering team tasked with optimizing adoption and utilization through best practice recommendations. The CS Engineer, working in tandem with the Customer Success Specialist, will serve as a post sale technical consultant throughout the customer lifecycle. This role is accountable for ensuring the success of ThousandEyes customers, the execution of adoption-driven playbooks, product trainings, and customer roadmaps.
The candidate should possess the following:
- 3+ years of Technical Support, Solutions Engineering, Professional Services or similar technical customer facing roles
- Strong desire to learn and ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge of network infrastructures, cloud technologies and application frameworks
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, JavaScript)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Additional European languages are highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
Responsibilities include:
- Proactively reach out to customers to build and maintain a trusted advisor relationship and create technical champions
- Collaborate with the Customer Success Specialist and Sales team on account strategy
- Identify customer strategic initiatives and potential use cases
- Engage with customers to drive adoption through best practice recommendations and increase the value ThousandEyes delivers to their business
- Actively identify new and expansion opportunities
- Share customer feedback and enhancement requests with the Product team
- Deliver product updates sessions highlighting new capabilities that have been released
