The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, we are looking for an organised Account Assistant who will work with the Accounting department to maintain and report the company’s finances.


What you’ll be doing

  • Creation of Customer and Supplier Accounts
  • Create the Sales Invoices for Customers each month
  • Ensuring the efficient management of accounts receivable by monitoring and following up on outstanding invoices and addressing payment-related queries
  • Reconciling accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted
  • Maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Assisting with month end processes
  • Supporting the finance team in annual audits and financial reviews
  • Purchase Ledger maintenance
  • Processing and analysing invoices, payments, and reports
  • Perform reconciliation of all base and foreign currency bank accounts
  • Managing inbox queries and handling correspondence

What you’ll need

  • 2+ years experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in SaaS
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles and VAT 
  • Accounting Technician qualification or equivalent would be beneficial but not necessary 
  • Experience using finance software 
  • Microsoft 365 proficiency, specifically Excel 
  • Good written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong attention-to-detail and an ability to work independently 
  • A flexible approach to work
