About the Role:
This is a 12mth FTC role. The individual will be part of a team based in central Dublin and supported from Zurich, London and New Jersey. This is a varied role and the individual will be capable of working to deadlines, happy to work in a small team, be professional and use their initiative.
This position will be based in our Dublin office with a hybrid schedule of working two days remote each week.
Role & Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Maintain and analyse technical reinsurance accounts.
- Processing payments to clients and brokers in the technical reporting system.
- Liaise with our Underwriting and Claims teams.
- Responding to queries from clients and brokers.
- Assisting the Head of Finance with quarterly reporting requirements.
- Assisting with end-user testing requirements for new system implementation.
Qualifications:
- The candidate will be a part-qualified accountant and have work experience in an accounting position. or be sitting their final professional exams (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- A Business/Finance/Accountancy Degree preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
- The candidate will be a self-starter, have the ability to work on their own initiative as well as being flexible, energetic and capable of working as part of a team.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Strong end user computing skills in particular MS Excel (intermediate), Word and PowerPoint.
- Good communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
