Job Description:

As Account Manager, you will play a key role in managing client relationships, driving revenue, and coordinating internal teams to deliver exceptional media strategies from planning to execution. This is a collaborative, dynamic role working alongside an Account Director and Account Executive, and you’ll manage a variety of client accounts within a talented team of 10.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Planning

  • Translate client briefs into detailed internal briefs, ensuring clear direction for internal media planning teams.

  • Oversee the development of accurate and cohesive composite media plans, coordinating with specialist teams and ensuring alignment with client objectives.

  • Manage changes to strategies and media plans, ensuring effective communication between clients and specialists.

Client Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for select clients, addressing their needs, assessing scope, and determining effective solutions.

  • Handle client queries across all media disciplines, involving specialists only when necessary.

  • Deliver post-campaign analyses (PCAs), mid campaign reporting, and competitive reviews, translating results into actionable insights.

  • Oversee campaign go-live procedures, including liaising with creative partners on specs and deadlines for copy and communication with clients on all matters relating to campaign booking approval and administration.

Team Leadership

  • Support, mentor, and upskill Account Executive(s) within your team, fostering their professional development.

  • Encourage a collaborative environment, where each team member is empowered to contribute innovative ideas and solutions to client challenges.

Operational Finance

  • Ensure accurate and timely invoicing, reconciling media plans with MX codes and purchase orders (POs).

What We’re Looking For:

Education & Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, Mass Communication, or a relevant subject.

  • 3-5 years of experience managing client campaign planning and implementation within a media agency environment.

  • Strong knowledge of the Irish media landscape and marketplace, with the ability to interpret consumer insights and media data to drive impactful strategies and campaign recommendations.

  • Exceptional ability to manage client relationships, cultivate trust with clients, and act as a reliable point of contact.

  • Excellent ability to manage multiple campaigns and responsibilities efficiently, while maintaining attention to detail.

  • A strategic mindset that combines creative thinking and data-driven decisions to deliver results and innovative solutions to meet client needs within a fast-paced environment.
