Are you a strategic, commercially focused leader with a deep understanding of swine production systems? Do you have a passion for customer success and team development? At Trouw Nutrition, we’re looking for an Account Manager to lead our swine business across Ireland—driving growth, building strong customer partnerships, and coaching a high-performing team.

About Us

Trouw Nutrition, part of the Nutreco family, is a global leader in innovative animal nutrition solutions. Our mission, Feeding the Future, drives us to support farmers with products and services that improve animal health, sustainability, and performance. With strong local expertise and international scale, we deliver real-world impact across every stage of animal production.

What You’ll Do

As Account Manager Swine – Ireland, you’ll be responsible for shaping and executing the commercial strategy for our swine segment. You’ll lead a team of two dedicated professionals and manage key accounts while actively contributing to our European species strategy.

You will be part of the ECA Swine Management Team (MT) and report directly to the Swine Business Director ECA, ensuring strong alignment and collaboration with our regional strategic goals.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a mid-to-long-term commercial strategy aligned with OpCo and ECA swine goals.

• Commercial Planning: Set annual sales objectives and forecasts for GB & Ireland, including budgeting and territory planning.

• Sales Execution: Oversee daily sales operations and ensure alignment with market trends and business targets.

• Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, delivering tailored, value-driven solutions.

• Operational Improvement: Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize business processes and CRM utilization.

• Reporting & Budgeting: Manage departmental budgets, monitor KPIs, and report on performance to the General Manager.

• Market Insight: Stay on top of competitive activity, customer feedback, and emerging opportunities to drive growth.

Who You Are

You’re a hands-on, strategic thinker who enjoys inspiring and developing others. With strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of swine production systems, you thrive in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

You bring:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree, ideally in agriculture, animal science, or business.

• At least 5–8 years of experience in sales or account management, ideally in animal nutrition or agriculture.

• Strong leadership experience and a coaching mindset.

• Proven track record in developing and executing sales strategies.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Familiarity with CRM systems and a data-driven approach to sales.

• Fluency in English and the flexibility to travel monthly across Ireland.

Why Join Us?

• Strategic Influence: Help shape our regional and European swine strategy as part of the ECA Swine MT.

• Small Team, Big Impact: Lead a focused team with direct visibility and impact.

• Career Growth: Opportunities within Nutreco and the broader SHV group, locally and internationally.

• Comprehensive Package: Competitive salary, company car, pension plan, and tech tools (laptop, iPhone, iPad).

• Flexible Working: Hybrid setup with flexibility to work from home, on the road, or in the field.
