Location: Galway or Dublin

The Fidelity Investments Return-to-Work Programme supports candidates who have taken a career break. We are seeking Systems Analysts to join our return-to-work programme starting in January 2026.

The Return-to-Work Program:

Successful candidates who have taken a voluntary career break will go through a structured and supportive 12-month, full-time, paid opportunity. Please note candidates who have worked in part-time roles or have done independent contracting will be considered for this programme. You will be part of a community of fellow professionals who are returning to the workplace. The aim of the programme, where possible, is to place successful candidates in full-time positions.

The Team

A successful systems analyst will be a key member of an agile delivery squad but is also involved in solutioning with our Squad Leads / Product Owners to gather & document business requirements, helping with current state analysis of our systems, helping define our technology solution, and partnering with QA in test case preparation. The role requires great collaboration with members of various business and IT groups throughout the life cycle of a product/application.

The Skills You Bring

  • Understanding of the various agile methodologies to select the appropriate methodology/combination of methodologies for the situation.
  • Driving analysis, design, and support for investment management solutions that help investment managers achieve outstanding performance and end-customers achieve their financial goals.
  • Collaborating with the technology and business teams to deliver high quality solutions to achieve business goals and address challenges.
  • Bringing curiosity and a questioning mind-set to work, asking about the “why” and the “value” of new features/enhancements we build.
  • Contributing to the platform with a sense of ownership and team-oriented work style.
  • Enabling your squad to deliver high quality features by capturing work clearly and concisely.
  • Working under minimum supervision with the ability to navigate through uncertainty.
  • Partnering with the squad lead and delivery team to meet customer needs.
  • Capturing and documenting requirements and solutions.
  • Resolving issues and/or identifying approaches to solutions.
