Teams at Zapier

Own the reliability, scalability, and evolution of Zapier’s database and caching infrastructure. Responsibilities include operating MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, and ElastiCache; managing infrastructure with Terraform; building observability, automation, SLOs, and golden paths; participating in on-call; supporting product teams; improving performance and resilience; leading design reviews; documenting practices; and mentoring engineers.

Serve as a strategic People Business Partner for Data and Product leaders, owning organizational design, workforce planning, talent reviews, performance management, change management, and employee relations. Advise leaders on complex performance cases, exits, investigations, and employment matters across multiple EMEA jurisdictions. Drive people processes, partner with Centers of Excellence, support employee relations initiatives, and use AI-enabled tools to improve productivity and scalability in a fully remote environment.

Create motion design across product explainers, websites, paid social, events, campaigns, and product launches. Develop Zapier’s motion language, branded animation systems, motion guidelines, component libraries, and reusable templates. Collaborate with brand, product, marketing, web, social, agencies, and external partners. Produce storyboards, UI-based animations, scalable video formats, and experiment with AI and motion tools to help teams create on-brand assets independently.
