Fully funded PhD researching integrated sensing and communication for UAV and non-terrestrial networks. Develop and implement signal-processing algorithms, sensing waveforms, and system methods; validate on software-defined radios and programmable hardware; conduct lab and outdoor field trials; analyse RF datasets; publish results and present at conferences.

Develop AI-driven detection, classification, and localisation algorithms for RF spectrum monitoring and GPS-denied geopositioning. Implement and validate algorithms in C++/Julia/Python/MATLAB, deploy on SDR/USRP hardware and UAV platforms, conduct field trials, publish results, supervise students, and ensure quality and safety compliance.

Lead and conduct research on heterogeneously integrated opto-electronic methane sensors, develop and manage sensing testbeds, perform experiments and simulations on optical frequency combs, secure funding, supervise students, collaborate with industry and EU partners, and support commercialization and outreach while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
