Teams at Toast

Manages Toast’s international corporate tax compliance and reporting across non-U.S. entities. Responsibilities include income tax provisions, VAT/GST support, tax audits, transfer pricing coordination, R&D tax credits, statutory requirements, country-entry analysis, and e-invoicing compliance. The role partners with Finance, Accounting, Legal, external advisors, and global stakeholders while improving tax processes, documentation, automation, and governance.

Own the strategy, roadmap, pricing, packaging, and go-to-market approach for Toast’s labor management products, including earned wage access, tip management, and payroll tools. Conduct customer research, prioritize initiatives, align cross-functional teams, define success metrics, and deliver scalable products across international markets. The role requires strong stakeholder management, product development expertise, and experience in employer management or payroll software.

Lead the technical vision and architecture for Toast’s Intelligence Platform, building scalable data products on AWS using Kotlin/Java, Spark, and Iceberg. Develop privacy-conscious aggregation, anonymization, access controls, APIs, and AI-agent data flows. Partner with Marketing, Product, Legal, Investor Relations, and Data Science to define the roadmap, ship reliable products, and establish quality standards. Mentor engineers through technical leadership, design reviews, and code reviews.
