Designs and maintains enterprise security architecture, standards, policies, controls, and roadmaps. Advises on application, infrastructure, cloud, identity, and data security across Azure and AWS. Leads NIS2 readiness, risk assessments, governance, secure-by-design practices, incident response planning, crisis management, tabletop exercises, business continuity, and disaster recovery activities. Supports Census 2027 and 2031 cybersecurity strategies while advising senior technical and business stakeholders.

Designs and governs enterprise-grade, secure, scalable technical solutions aligned with business needs and target architecture. Translates requirements into architecture artifacts, leads technology selection, guides development teams, reviews designs and code, manages technical risks, supports project planning, and oversees third-party deliverables. The role also refines technical architecture, ensures documentation and standards compliance, supports cloud-native and full-stack solutions, and provides technical leadership across public-facing and internal systems.

Provides operational and developmental support across Azure, VMware, Windows Server, enterprise networking, security, backup, disaster recovery, and hybrid infrastructure. Responsibilities include resolving complex incidents, supporting infrastructure changes and migrations, improving resilience, documenting environments and recovery procedures, assessing technical risks, and transferring knowledge to ICT staff. The consultant will also contribute to cybersecurity remediation, disaster recovery testing, infrastructure architecture, service management, and future ICT operating-model recommendations.
