Own the full sales cycle for existing SMB customers, including prospecting, account planning, business-case development, negotiations, closing, activation, and expansion. Develop outbound strategies, manage named accounts, build executive relationships, coordinate stakeholders, and expand customer revenue. The role also contributes to sales-process improvements and requires the ability to understand technical requirements, craft solutions, and negotiate complex commercial agreements.

Lead the architecture and technical roadmap for Stripe Tax, driving complex multi-team initiatives from exploration through production. Design scalable, resilient systems and data models for global tax compliance, emphasizing correctness, auditability, security, availability, and interoperability. Partner with engineering, product, legal, operations, and business leaders to translate evolving tax requirements into platform capabilities. Provide hands-on technical leadership, make strategic decisions, improve operational excellence, and mentor engineers.

Source and close new mid-market business for Stripe by generating outbound pipeline, developing acquisition strategies, identifying prospect needs, positioning solutions, and managing complex sales cycles through negotiation, close, and activation. Build relationships with technology and finance decision-makers, collaborate cross-functionally, maintain accurate CRM data and forecasts, and drive adoption of Stripe products in a fast-paced environment.
