Build and own software services and platforms supporting payments, risk management, merchant experiences, and financial infrastructure. Develop APIs, user-facing experiences, and scalable systems while collaborating with engineers, designers, and product managers. Contribute to architecture, analyze experiment results, uphold engineering standards, and solve complex problems across varied technologies and codebases.

Develops and maintains capacity planning models for support or risk operations, forecasts resource needs, evaluates planning risks, monitors utilization and capacity performance, automates reporting using SQL databases, collaborates with vendors and stakeholders, and communicates recommendations to senior leadership.

Build and deploy software solving complex, high-impact problems across Stripe’s financial infrastructure. Collaborate on coding projects, learn unfamiliar systems, communicate technical work clearly, participate in code reviews, safely update production systems, and use AI tools with sound engineering judgment. Engineers may work across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and large codebases while contributing to both independent and team projects.
