The DevSecOps Engineer embeds security into CI/CD pipelines and the software development lifecycle through automated scanning, policy gates, threat modeling, and secure engineering patterns. The role builds cloud security guardrails primarily in AWS, with Azure and GCP exposure, manages Wiz findings, hardens IAM and network controls, supports vulnerability remediation, and provides evidence for SOC 2 and regulatory audits. The engineer partners closely with developers, platform teams, and DevOps to improve security without slowing delivery.

Lead and scale Private Debt investment operations by improving processes, controls, governance, automation, and workflow efficiency. Oversee transaction lifecycles, fund cash management, capital calls, distributions, investment closings, funding coordination, and manager onboarding. Serve as a deputy reviewer while leading cross-functional initiatives, standardizing procedures, enhancing reporting, and supporting strategic operational improvements across multiple entities and jurisdictions.

Supports StepStone’s Portfolio Analytics and Reporting Client Services team with financial and portfolio data collection, validation, analysis, and recurring client reporting. Responsibilities include processing private market investment reports, maintaining reporting databases, researching funds and market trends, preparing presentations and visualizations, and collaborating on client deliverables and ad hoc projects. The internship provides exposure to private equity, portfolio analytics, performance reporting, and private markets client service operations.
