Advise and handle enterprise customer support requests for PlanetScale platform, act as customer-facing SME, identify and escalate product gaps, collaborate with TAM/Engineering/Sales Engineering, and participate in on-call rotation for high-priority incidents.

Design and build scalable backend systems for PlanetScale's database platform (Vitess/Postgres), collaborate on distributed systems challenges, work autonomously and with customers, optimize performance, and mentor engineers while operating systems at production scale.

The Software Engineer will build database infrastructure, solve complex distributed systems challenges, and work directly with customers to provide technical solutions.
