Partners with Product, Data Engineering, Finance, Legal, Privacy, Compliance, and local entities while building a senior team and ensuring accurate, timely regulatory submissions across multiple jurisdictions.

Drafts, reviews, and negotiates commercial contracts, partners with stakeholders and vendors, manages legal records across jurisdictions, and develops legal processes, policies, training, and playbooks. The role provides general legal support, manages regulatory and contractual risk, and supports business growth in a fast-paced global cryptocurrency and fintech organization.

Provide broad legal support to OKX’s European entities in Malta, including digital asset reviews, regulatory matters, licensing obligations, litigation, contracts, corporate governance, compliance, partnerships, and marketing. Advise business and product teams on legal risk, negotiate agreements, manage external counsel, communicate with regulators, and support cross-functional projects in a rapidly changing cryptocurrency and financial services environment.

Lead OKX’s compliance program across European and UK entities, managing Country Heads of Compliance and MLROs. Set regional strategy, strengthen controls and workflows, oversee investigations, and engage with regulators, Boards, Legal, Product, Operations, and Risk. Build scalable, data-driven compliance frameworks using automation and AI-enabled tools while ensuring adherence to EU and UK regulations. Serve as the escalation point for complex compliance matters and develop senior compliance leaders across multiple jurisdictions.

Leads OKX’s global marketing compliance function, building policies, controls, review and approval processes, monitoring programs, and regulatory change management for advertising, promotions, social media, influencers, affiliates, and product launches across CeFi and DeFi. Partners with Marketing, Product, Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams; manages incidents, supports audits, delivers training, and scales the compliance team and framework.

Lead product compliance reviews for new products, features, market expansions, and material changes across OKX’s global crypto business. Assess regulatory, AML/CFT, sanctions, KYC, consumer protection, financial promotion, market conduct, safeguarding, privacy, and third-party risks. Partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to define controls, document decisions, support launches, monitor post-launch risks, and promote compliance-by-design.

Conduct complex AML and blockchain investigations to identify money laundering, terrorist financing, and other illicit activity. Analyze transaction monitoring and suspicious activity reporting requirements, identify compliance process gaps, recommend mitigations, and collaborate with financial institutions, regulators, law enforcement, legal teams, and blockchain companies. Stay current on cryptocurrency risks and regulations while supporting training and knowledge sharing.

Own and optimize Simple Trading products for European retail crypto customers. Identify local needs, improve onboarding and trading journeys, drive adoption and retention, and develop recurring investment, savings, and engagement features. Use funnel analysis, experimentation, customer feedback, and market insights to improve conversion and sustainable growth. Partner cross-functionally with design, engineering, data, compliance, operations, marketing, and local teams across European markets.

Manage day-to-day compliance operations for a MiFID II investment firm, including financial promotions review, complaints administration, regulatory and trade reporting, compliance monitoring, regulatory registers, product assessments, policy updates, AML/CFT support, and board reporting. The role requires accurate execution across recurring regulatory workstreams, regulatory-change tracking, audit readiness, and collaboration with Legal, Risk, Product, Marketing, Finance, Data, and Engineering teams.

Drive affiliate growth across MENA by identifying and onboarding affiliates, influencers, and HNW clients; manage relationships; plan and execute online/offline campaigns and events; optimize user acquisition through KPI-driven analysis and segmentation to grow OKX's regional user base and brand awareness.

Owns OKX’s global customer complaints program within Compliance. Oversees complaints governance, quality assurance, regulatory alignment, second-line oversight, trend analysis, root-cause remediation, executive reporting, and regulatory responses across jurisdictions. Partners with Legal, Compliance, Support, Product, Operations, Risk, and senior stakeholders to improve customer outcomes, address systemic issues, maintain controls, and track remediation through closure.
