Teams at Neo4j

Own the platform architecture and Neo4j strategy for GraphAware Hume, optimizing Cypher queries, graph models, and scalable access patterns. Lead cross-team technical direction, mentor engineers, build secure APIs, and orchestrate graph analytics workflows. Partner with product managers on technical roadmaps, evaluate Neo4j ecosystem updates, and support migrations. The role also involves backend development in Java and Spring, CI/CD, Docker, security, cloud-native practices, and potentially GraphRAG, Kafka, and distributed systems.

Build and enhance GraphAware Hume, a graph-powered analytics platform. Responsibilities include developing APIs, designing secure and scalable access-control systems, orchestrating workflows for graph analytics and real-time insights, optimizing application performance, contributing to architecture and technical design, and collaborating with distributed engineering teams.

Architect and build the AI layer for Neo4j’s Hume Maestro platform. Responsibilities include setting the AI technical roadmap, contributing hands-on to production code, designing scalable AI architectures, establishing model evaluation and deployment practices, integrating AI with front-end and platform systems, and collaborating with Product and Science stakeholders. The role may eventually evolve into leading and mentoring a dedicated AI engineering team.
