Provides independent second-line oversight and challenge of operational, technology, information security, and resilience risks across EU digital banking operations. Reviews controls, risk assessments, incidents, remediation, business continuity, and technology strategies; supports risk frameworks and policies; coordinates assurance reviews; oversees DORA compliance; and reports risk insights to governance forums and senior management.

Maintain and enhance Finance risk and control frameworks across financial reporting, reconciliations, regulatory reporting, tax, treasury, and capital processes. Design risk-control matrices, test control effectiveness, review evidence, identify gaps, track remediation, and prepare leadership and governance reporting. Partner with Risk & Compliance, Internal Audit, external auditors, and Finance stakeholders to strengthen processes and ensure regulatory reporting assurance.

Lead 2nd-Line assurance over Monzo Europes risk framework: plan and execute effectiveness and thematic reviews across conduct, financial crime, fraud, credit, operational, ICT and information security risks; identify remediation, engage stakeholders, contribute to governance and risk culture, and report findings to senior management and the Board.
