Manage strategic relationships with large energy users in Ireland’s utility market. Develop and execute account and sales strategies, lead account planning, identify growth opportunities, manage pipelines and forecasts, support service portfolio sales, and participate in major contract negotiations. The role requires strong customer and stakeholder management, complex solution-selling experience, analytical ability, and knowledge of the Irish utility sector.

Oversee quality assurance and quality control for electrical substation projects across engineering, procurement, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning. Develop project quality plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspection checklists; coordinate FAT, SAT, inspections, and audits; review technical documentation; manage non-conformances and root-cause analysis; monitor suppliers and subcontractors; maintain quality records and handover documentation; and drive risk mitigation, coaching, and continuous improvement.

The Planner manages scheduling and cost control for multiple projects valued between 2-35 Million EUR, ensuring adherence to methodologies and managing deviations in project timelines and costs.

Manage energy-sector projects from planning through closeout, including scope, schedules, budgets, risks, resources, procurement, contracts, claims, stakeholder relationships, and customer communications. Ensure project execution follows company policies, customer standards, and health, safety, and environmental requirements. Coordinate internal and external teams, monitor financial and operational performance, pursue opportunities, capture lessons learned, and oversee formal contract completion.

Design and review secondary protection and control systems for HV/MV industrial installations. Produce single-line and circuit diagrams, protection interfaces, signal lists, relay configurations, cable schedules, BoQs and FAT procedures. Coordinate with suppliers, project managers and manufacturing, ensure compliance with EHS and quality standards, mentor junior engineers, and use Hitachi Energy configuration tools to deliver projects on schedule.

The Senior Project Engineer will provide technical support for tendering and execution of customer projects, manage engineering activities, and lead project teams in the energy sector.

Prepare competitive bids, estimates and quotations by defining technical solutions, pricing, cashflow and resource hours. Coordinate inputs, documentation, supplier selection, risk reviews, and customer engagement. Report bid status and analyze tender outcomes to support Sales Managers and Supply Chain.

Drive sales for grid automation solutions: develop and execute sales strategies, identify opportunities, manage key accounts, prepare proposals, collaborate cross-functionally, forecast and report sales, and ensure compliance with company policies.
