Designs, integrates, tests, troubleshoots, and documents industrial IoT solutions connecting machines, PLCs, sensors, and customer systems to Factbird. Responsibilities include feasibility assessments, custom hardware and software solutions, OT/IT integration, live production root-cause analysis, network troubleshooting, commissioning, end-to-end testing, technical customer engagement, and knowledge sharing. The role also standardizes repeatable solutions and provides product input.

Own product strategy, roadmaps, prioritization, discovery, launches, and performance outcomes for manufacturing software and IoT products. Partner with firmware, cloud, UX, engineering, and business teams to translate customer and shop-floor needs into shipped products. Responsibilities include defining user stories, gathering customer insights, aligning cross-functional teams, tracking metrics, and iterating based on usage. Focus areas include production insights or hardware, firmware, and industrial data capture.

Build and ship end-to-end features across React frontends and Node.js/TypeScript or Rust backends, operate in a Nix-backed development ecosystem, and maintain services on a multi-account AWS environment. Write infrastructure as code (AWS CDK), design systems and data pipelines, participate in code reviews and sprint planning, mentor engineers, and help set technical standards and architecture.
