Designs, builds, and supports custom industrial IoT integrations connecting PLCs, sensors, CNC machines, and customer OT/IT systems to Factbird. Responsibilities include feasibility analysis, integration design, PLC and protocol work, hardware bench testing, live production troubleshooting, root cause analysis, documentation, commissioning, process improvement, and technical customer support. The role also shares expertise with internal teams and contributes recurring solutions to product development.

Own product strategy, roadmap, discovery, execution, launches, and performance metrics for manufacturing-focused products. Collaborate across product, firmware, cloud, UX, engineering, and business teams to translate customer and shop-floor needs into impactful solutions. Focus areas include production insights or hardware, firmware, data capture, and IoT connectivity. The role requires strong product management, customer discovery, analytics, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills, with relocation to Copenhagen and eligibility for a Danish work permit.

Build and ship end-to-end features across React frontends and Node.js/TypeScript or Rust backends, operate in a Nix-backed development ecosystem, and maintain services on a multi-account AWS environment. Write infrastructure as code (AWS CDK), design systems and data pipelines, participate in code reviews and sprint planning, mentor engineers, and help set technical standards and architecture.
