Lead and contribute to Elasticsearch core search and indexing capabilities: define technical vision, research search/data-structure improvements, design and implement indexing, query execution, and relevance systems, collaborate across teams, mentor engineers, and drive large-scale search infrastructure projects.

Lead design and implementation of vector similarity search features in Elasticsearch. Improve performance and relevance, fix bugs, collaborate with distributed engineers and the OSS community, and write idiomatic modern Java.
