Designs and develops water infrastructure systems, including drainage, water supply, and wastewater solutions. Performs hydraulic analysis, site investigations, feasibility studies, and technical documentation using CAD and modelling tools. Ensures compliance with Irish and UK standards, environmental legislation, and water authority requirements. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and regulators; reviews junior engineers’ work; maintains project records; and contributes to design process improvements.

Leads drainage design on infrastructure projects, including drainage networks, pipework, channels, gullies, attenuation systems, catchment analysis, flow estimation, culvert design, and OPW Section 50 applications. Provides client updates, works independently, and supports junior staff. Requires expertise in Irish TII and DMURS standards, regional drainage codes, SuDS, and software including InfoDrainage, HEC-RAS, and CulvertMaster.
