Lead private-cloud and on-premises deployments of an enterprise AI platform. The role requires production Kubernetes and Helm expertise, cloud infrastructure knowledge, DevOps and CI/CD experience, customer-facing skills, French fluency, and travel of up to 20–40%.

Design, build, and deploy reliable LLM-powered agents and agentic workflows for enterprise customers. Translate ambiguous business problems into measurable AI solutions, integrate agents with tools, APIs, and sensitive data, and ship features for Cohere’s North platform. Develop evaluation frameworks for accuracy, safety, and latency; contribute to shared AI engineering standards; collaborate with customer engineering teams; and travel 20–40% for on-site customer and partner work.

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will build features for an AI platform, develop integrating solutions, lead deployments, and engage with customers.

Build and maintain integrations for North's agentic platform, own the end-to-end integration pipeline, create evals and tests to ensure reliability, tune tool descriptions, and help other engineers add and maintain integrations while using AI responsibly to improve performance and quality.
