Lead complex, multi-team engineering programs from definition through delivery. Own scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, trade-offs, and stakeholder communication while coordinating engineering, product, design, security, and go-to-market teams. Influence architectural decisions, manage operating cadence, provide executive visibility, and improve engineering productivity through lightweight processes and AI-enabled tooling.

Build and operate production systems for Coder’s agentic development experience. Develop Go-based backend systems, contribute to React and TypeScript applications, improve agent execution and context management, and create reliable integrations across models, tools, workspaces, and developer infrastructure. Own projects through rollout, enhance system reliability and performance, participate in technical reviews, and collaborate with Product and Design to deliver useful AI-powered developer experiences.

Lead the technical direction and hands-on development of Coder’s agentic engineering systems. Build production software in Go, with React and TypeScript as needed, and evolve agent execution, tool use, context management, streaming, and long-running workflows. Make architectural decisions, lead complex projects, improve reliability and performance, collaborate with Product and Design, and mentor engineers. The role requires distributed systems expertise, LLM and agentic workflow experience, and familiarity with AWS and cloud-native infrastructure.

Leads and grows an agentic engineering team building reliable AI development systems. Sets technical direction for agent harnesses, integrations, workflows, model-provider abstractions, tool use, context management, and long-running execution. Partners with Product and Design, contributes to architecture and implementation, improves system reliability and performance, and coaches engineers while maintaining strong execution standards.

Build and operate backend systems enabling enterprise deployments of Coder. Design and implement scalable backend architecture, improve upgrade and migration reliability, investigate and resolve production scalability issues, own operator-facing backend features, document tradeoffs, participate in design reviews and on-call rotations.

Embed with strategic partners across EMEA to drive technical adoption of Coder: define architecture, build demos and workshops, co-create GTM plays, co-sell on high-value deals, produce repeatable enablement assets, and feed field insights into product and engineering.
