The role requires extensive technical sales or network architecture experience and travel up to 50%.

Designs, builds, and supports Cisco dCloud platform solutions across datacenters and public cloud. Develops Go and Python services, SDKs, libraries, Kubernetes workloads, APIs, micro-frontends, MCP servers, and AI-driven automation. Defines architecture, engineering standards, and technical direction while collaborating with partner teams. Maintains system reliability and security, reviews designs, and accelerates demo delivery through infrastructure automation and AI tools.

Serve as a technical sales resource for UK Commercial Sales, building customer relationships and driving technical wins. Lead demonstrations, workshops, presentations, proof-of-concepts, technical validations, and solution positioning for Splunk products. Partner with sales managers, understand customer needs, support buying decisions, maintain opportunity updates in Salesforce, and help customers achieve value outcomes across public and private sector accounts in Scotland and Ireland.

Manage end-to-end software releases, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver timely and reliable releases. Improve installation workflows, automate release processes, and collaborate with developers using GitHub. Build, support, and enhance cloud-native platforms with Golang and Kubernetes while applying CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Provides technical leadership for backend engineering teams building scalable workload security products. Designs and architects distributed services that process telemetry, render policies, implement low-latency APIs, and operate reliably in complex environments. Focus areas include scalability, performance, reliability, robustness, security, event processing, systems programming, databases, Kubernetes, and cloud APIs.

Create and maintain Tetragon runtime security policies using threat intelligence and CVE monitoring. Design frameworks for policy consumption, collaborate with engineers and customers to deploy protections, and publish/share findings.
