Develop networking software for Arista switches and routers across Linux kernels, hardware ASICs, embedded systems, and routing protocols. Responsibilities include writing C/C++, Go, and Python code; implementing BGP, OSPF, and ISIS; managing hardware forwarding state; developing configuration services with YANG and OpenConfig; interfacing with ASICs and buses; and building automated testing for high-performance, fault-tolerant network platforms.

Develop embedded networking software for Arista switches and routers. Responsibilities include Linux kernel and user-space code, ASIC and FPGA integration, routing protocols, hardware forwarding state, configuration services, policy languages, hardware interfaces, high-resolution telemetry, and automated testing. Work involves C/C++, Go, and Python in Fedora Linux environments, supporting high-performance, fault-tolerant networking systems.

Support network product testing under mentorship by designing and testing network topologies, writing and executing test plans, identifying defects, validating fixes, and reviewing test coverage. The internship develops skills in network design, routing, switching, networking protocols, automation scripting, structured testing, and troubleshooting. The role requires a six-month, full-time onsite commitment in Ireland.
