Troubleshoot customer and system-test issues, optimize performance, lead projects, collaborate with hardware and manufacturing teams, and mentor junior engineers.

Design and implement software for Arista’s network operating system and OpenConfig team. Responsibilities involve architecting distributed systems, developing programmable data-center infrastructure, applying software-defined networking principles, and building reliable Linux-based networking solutions. The role requires strong algorithms, software architecture, computer science fundamentals, and hands-on product engineering experience using C or C++.

Design, develop, test, debug, and scale engineering productivity tools and infrastructure. Collaborate with software engineers to identify and resolve workflow, tooling, and infrastructure bottlenecks. Support CI/CD, testing, analysis, visualization, and observability systems while owning projects from definition through deployment and ensuring delivery quality.

Build, deploy, and operate scalable, reliable, observable, and secure production systems. Develop infrastructure automation, monitoring, alerting, incident response, and staged deployment processes. Diagnose infrastructure issues, conduct postmortems, optimize platforms, manage maintenance windows, and collaborate with software engineering and external support teams. The role requires strong Linux administration, infrastructure-as-code, production operations, troubleshooting, and automation skills, with experience in cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Docker, monitoring, CI/CD, and distributed systems preferred.

Provides Tier 3 technical support for Arista networking products and protocols. Troubleshoots hardware, software, installation, compatibility, and operational issues; recreates problems in a lab; recommends corrective actions; and documents recurring issues. The role communicates directly with customers and collaborates with software and hardware engineering teams to diagnose and resolve complex networking problems while supporting product quality and development.

Provide commercial legal support across Europe: draft, negotiate, and review commercial, channel, procurement and licensing agreements; advise on EU/member-state regulation, GDPR, export controls, and anti-corruption; identify legal risks, manage external counsel, and develop internal processes and templates to support cross-functional business teams.

Operate and scale internal engineering infrastructure and CI/CD platforms; build automation to reduce toil; ensure observability, reliability, and security; manage incidents and runbooks; coordinate maintenance and vendor support; collaborate with development teams to improve developer workflows and platform performance.
