Operates pharmaceutical production equipment and completes preparation, processing, documentation, testing, and post-production activities in compliance with GMP, SOPs, quality, safety, and hygiene requirements. The role involves checking materials, operating milling, granulation, blending, tableting, coating, inspection, dispensing, and encapsulation machinery; meeting OEE targets; investigating deviations; and supporting continuous improvement.

Operates pharmaceutical production equipment and completes preparatory, processing, inspection, documentation, and post-production tasks. Follows GMP, SOPs, quality, safety, and hygiene requirements while meeting production schedules and OEE targets. Performs in-process testing, investigates deviations, maintains batch paperwork, verifies materials, and supports continuous improvement across milling, blending, tabletting, coating, dispensing, encapsulation, and related processes.

Supports new product introductions and product transfers through commercialization within AbbVie’s quality system. Ensures regulatory and procedural compliance, reviews analytical method transfers and validations, coordinates specifications and technical agreements, manages quality documentation, CAPAs, audits, metrics, change controls, and project deliverables. Acts as a quality subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders and supports site quality projects.

Leads third-party pharmaceutical manufacturing partners to ensure supply continuity, quality, regulatory compliance, performance, and cost competitiveness. Manages supplier governance, forecasts, production schedules, operational risks, KPIs, audits, inspections, deviations, investigations, CAPAs, and product release decisions. Coordinates technology transfers and strategic manufacturing projects, aligning internal teams and external partners on risks, timelines, resources, costs, and communications. Drives lifecycle improvements in reliability, manufacturing robustness, and profitability.

Designs, configures, integrates, tests, and optimizes MES solutions across AbbVie’s global pharmaceutical manufacturing network. Leads technical standards, templates, documentation, governance, training, and Communities of Practice while supporting digital transformation and process improvement. Collaborates with manufacturing, automation, IT, and external partners; ensures cGMP and regulatory compliance; and mentors MES engineers and other contributors.

Lead and develop a global labeling operations team responsible for labeling strategy, packaging artwork, launch project coordination, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration. Drive continuous improvement, manage resources and day-to-day labeling activities, report metrics, and ensure artwork availability for regulatory submissions and production while influencing senior stakeholders and implementing change management.

Lead the site PMO to establish governance, manage the project portfolio (NPI, CAPEX, strategic initiatives), allocate resources, mitigate risks, and report to senior plant leadership. Standardize methodologies for compliance, drive cross-functional collaboration, and support continuous improvement and business excellence.

Lead and supervise production operators to meet daily and weekly production and quality targets in a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Ensure adherence to SOPs and BMRs, coach and develop staff, run Tier meetings, manage deviations with QA, maintain documentation, drive continuous improvement and enforce safety and housekeeping standards.

Provide functional and technical SAP support for global supply chain, designing and configuring SAP MM/WM/EWM solutions, leading blueprint workshops, supporting integrations and CSV activities, managing stakeholders, mitigating implementation risks, and enabling continuous process improvements.
