You'll Get To:
- Support the Vice President of Real Estate & Workplace in achieving the global workplace policies, goals, and initiatives, and be an engaged, active participant in the Global Workplace Services team. Implement the strategy and direction of BlackLine Paris operations as set by the local functional leaders.
- Provide best-in-class client service that is timely, accurate and seamless; demonstrate sound judgement and quick problem-solving in a fast-paced environment where two days are rarely the same.
- Evaluate, identify and implement innovative ways to enhance service delivery to maximise and foster a rich culture of connection, collaboration, productivity and fun in the workplace.
- Cultivate a genuine and personal connection with BlackLine leadership, employees and clients, and create a customized experience so they can work seamlessly, productively, and efficiently.
- Create a positive, first-impression experience by managing the receiving of employees, guests, and visitors to the Paris workplace. Act as a virtual directory for all employees and guests through possessing full knowledge of conference rooms, departmental location, leadership, BlackLine policies, building policies, and other pertinent, operational information.
- Ensure the health and safety of employees and guests through managing a team and vendors to maintain a clean, clutter-free workplace environment, first aid supplies, and required safety protocols. Confirm compliance with required health, safety, and fire French legislation.
- Manage vendor performance for cleaning services; procurement of office supplies and equipment, daily post collection and distribution, shipping and receiving operations, and maintenance of office furniture and equipment. Commit to the local maintenance and upkeep of the location and arrive before the start of the business day to conduct site walks, insuring the highest level of appearance and operations of the workplace.
- Manage the overall implementation and program of the food and snack/beverage programs for the workplace; develop a catering program with high-quality options and offerings.
- Manage the BlackLine relationship with the building landlord and act as local liaison to BlackLine; address and resolve facilities issues and other building concerns. Establish relationships with local vendors, following established procurement processes. Identify and implement efficiencies and value add opportunities across the local workplace operation.
- Partner with functional managers and the People team; liaise with Finance, IT, and other departments to ensure 100% data integrity and compliance. Adhere to all BlackLine policies and procedures, including procurement, finance and accounting processes.
- Own all things social; we love getting together!Manage and organize social activities and company local meetings (virtual and in person); manage BlackLine Paris employee events and celebrations.
What You'll Bring:

- A personable and professional demeanour
- Experienced user of MS Office, Teams & SharePoint
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and French
- Strong initiative and the ability to work independently
- High-level of resourcefulness, confidence, and problem-solving skills
- Organized and meticulous, with proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a timely manner
- This is an on-site position requiring full time attendance in the workplace.
- Minimal business travel is anticipated.
