Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Integration Projects: Manage the full lifecycle of Workday integrations, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand integration needs and design solutions that align with business goals and technical capabilities.
  • System Integration Management: Lead the integration of Workday with external systems (e.g., payroll, benefits, ERP etc.) using Workday's integration tools like Studio, EIB and Workday Web Services (WWS).
  • Solution Design & Development: Design scalable, maintainable, and robust integration solutions while adhering to best practices and Workday’s guidelines.
  • Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Provide technical expertise to resolve integration issues and ensure data integrity between systems. Ensure timely identification of potential integration failures and take proactive measures to minimize downtime.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Coordinate comprehensive testing strategies for integration workflows, ensuring that all integrations are thoroughly tested for functionality, data accuracy, and performance before going live.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation of integration specifications, processes, and error-handling protocols to ensure transparency and ease of troubleshooting.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with Workday product updates and industry best practices, recommending and implementing continuous improvements to integration processes and strategies.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure that integrations comply with data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements, and that appropriate safeguards are in place for sensitive data handling.
Requirements

Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Workday Integration tools (Studio, EIB, Workday Web Services, Workday Report Writer, etc.).
  • Experience with XML, XSLT, Web Services (REST/SOAP), and integration middleware platforms.
  • Knowledge of Workday HCM, Compensation, Help and other Workday modules.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture and integration design patterns.

Leadership:

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills:

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and find creative and effective solutions.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Workday Integration Certification (or willingness to obtain).
