Job Description

   

In readiness to independently operate our modern business applications stack, SUSE is now further expanding its internal IT function to support and enable the rapid growth of the organization. As part of this young and dynamic team, we are looking for a Workday IT Consultant.

In this role you’ll be involved in Workday HR modules support. You will play an important role in implementing HR Solutions across Workday functional modules and will get involved on HR transformational projects. You will be a technical subject matter expert participating in the ongoing system updates, requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of configuration for new functionality. You will be involved in upgrades and act as a point-of-contact regarding Workday application-related IT queries and operational support.

Focus Areas

  • Provide day-to-day system support related to HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, integrations and other HR modules

  • Address Service requests & Support Users in HR IT area queries

  • Participate in semi-annual Workday releases, including regression testing, feature adoption exploration

  • Support configuration, testing and deployment of  new and updated business processes and features within HCM

  • Leverage latest features, best practices, data integrity, security & compliance

  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives and projects

About You

  • Knowledge of HR applications & processes

  • At least 3-4 years experience providing Workday support

  • Understanding of Workday Business Process set up

  • Experience with troubleshooting, key user  / end user assistance

  • Technical Documentation - ability to translate business objectives and user needs into technical requirements

  • Experience with User acceptance testing

  • Self-driven, passionate to identify and deliver end to end HR IT improvements

  • Analytical skills, Attention to detail

  • Willingness to learn new tools and ways of working quickly and work with large amounts of complex data

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a comparable course of studies

  • Fluent in English, written and verbal; ability to work in geographically dispersed teams
