Lead the strategy, development, and improvement of WisdomTree's European website, ensuring impactful features, BAU updates, and conversion optimization.
WisdomTree is looking for a proactive and hands-on Website Lead to join our European digital marketing team in London. Working independently and with multiple stakeholders across marketing, technology, design, and data, the successful candidate will lead the strategy, development, and continuous improvement of the website in Europe to drive impactful features and deliver a stream of BAU content updates. With strong technical expertise, strategic insight, and clear communication skills, this role will help position the WisdomTree website as best-in-breed in the European ETF market.
Job Purpose
- Vision: Help define and lead the strategic vision for WisdomTree’s European website and broader digital product development.
- Roadmap: Establish and maintain a short, medium, and long-term website roadmap.
- Delivery: Using the CMS platform, deliver a stream of business-as-usual (BAU) requests to support fund launches and content updates.
- Continuous improvement: Drive ongoing enhancements at every release stage, with an equal focus on optimising defined digital goals.
- Communication and collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact in digital marketing for the website providing regular updates on progress, risks, and opportunities.
Key Accountabilities and Scope
- BAU management: Own, prioritise, and deliver content updates and a book of BAU work balancing distribution, regulatory, and technical needs.
- Balance BAU and new initiatives: Balance a book of BAU website requests against new initiatives to ensure progression is consistent.
- Delivery: Leveraging the CMS platform, deliver content updated to the website. This is a hands-on role and requires a hands-on practitioner.
- Develop web product prototypes: Create prototypes to visualise strategic direction, feature improvements, and user journeys, to ensure clarity before development phases.
- Conversion Optimisation: Improve the user experience by identifying and removing conversion barriers through website testing and data analysis.
- Performance Measurement: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of website enhancements on goal conversions.
- Learning market and customer needs: Develop knowledge on market and customer needs to ensure the website solves problems for all investor types.
- Industry Awareness: Stay informed of website and digital trends, competitor approaches, and strategies to help position WisdomTree at the forefront of innovation
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a website lead, with a strong track record managing complex, multi-language websites featuring extensive product ranges and regulatory considerations.
- Proven success in delivering high-performing websites and digital products that offer exceptional user experiences.
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into effective digital and website solutions.
- Demonstrated expertise in prototyping with Figma to effectively communicate strategic vision and digital product concepts.
- Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder expectation-setting skills.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to navigate shifting priorities and manage competing demands.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing principles and conversion optimisation strategies.
