Job Description: A Content Migration Support is a professional responsible for transferring digital content from one system, platform, or format to another. Executes the placement of content and assets for internal and external websites using content management system. This role involves ensuring that the migration process is efficient, accurate, and minimally disruptive to the organization's operations. Role/Responsibilities:

Data Mapping and Transformation:

Map existing content fields and metadata to the new

Transform content formats and structures as needed to fit the new platform

Migration Execution:

Perform manual migration tasks for a variety of content types.

Ensure data integrity and consistency during the migration process.

As needed, use automated tools and scripts to transfer content.

Quality Assurance and Testing:

Test migrated content to ensure it displays correctly and functions as expected.

Verify that links, media, and metadata are correctly transferred.

Troubleshooting and Support:

Resolve any issues that arise during the migration process

Documentation and Training:

Document processes when required. Assist in training new team members as required

Teamwork and collaboration:

Work with a larger team to understand daily tasks, report status and work collaboratively to resolve issues

Skills:

Knowledge of various content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, SharePoint).

Familiarity with data migration tools and techniques.

CMS Platforms:

Experience with popular CMS platforms like Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, SharePoint, etc.

Familiarity with tools such as WP Migrate DB, ShareGate, CMS2CMS, or custom scripts for automation are nice to have but not required

Quality Assurance Tools:

Tools for testing and validating migrated content, such as Selenium for automated testing are nice to have but not required.

College graduate, Computer Science / Information Technology practice

Willing to work on an EMEA shift and adjust as needed to overlap with North America team.
