In this pivotal role, you’ll have overall responsibility for defining and driving LearnUpon’s product strategy, ensuring alignment with our company objectives and customer needs, while also empowering and supporting our teams to continuously improve in function and form. 


What will I be doing?

As the VP of Product, reporting to the CTO, you will lead an experienced international product and design teams based primarily in Ireland and Serbia.

You’ll lead and grow our product and design teams in a high-paced scale-up environment, with a focus on delivering lovable products that delight our customers working in a supportive and collaborative team environment. 

You’ll: 

  • Collaborate with our Executive and Product teams to define, communicate and execute on an inspiring product vision and strategy
  • Act as the primary advocate for our product strategy across the company
  • Partner with Engineering, Partnership, GTM and Customer Success teams to ensure cross-functional alignment and seamless execution
  • Be an ally to our customers, working directly with them to understand how LearnUpon can support them in achieving their business goals
  • Identify and prioritize initiatives based on market trends, emerging technologies, customer feedback and company goals
  • Lead and mentor the product management and design teams, fostering a culture of pace, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. 
  • Champion a customer-first approach in product decision-making
  • Deliver measurable outcomes by aligning product initiatives with revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency goals
  • Collaborate on pricing, packaging, and positioning strategies for new and existing products
  • Regularly collaborate with and report progress/insights with the executive team and our senior leadership


What skills do I need?

  • 10+ Years in Product with 5+ years in a people leadership role
  • Experience in a SaaS technology-driven company is essential
  • Strong ability to develop and execute product strategies that align with business goals
  • Comfortable researching emerging technologies and market trends
  • Deep understanding of customer research methodologies, user feedback, and data-driven decision-making
  • Strong ability to hire, develop, retain and engage top product and design talent
  • How you treat people is a big deal for us. People love working with you. You’re helpful and generous with your time and knowledge
  • A track record of leading product and design teams through significant growth phases, while continuing to deliver lovable products built for scale and flexibility
  • Acute understanding for the balance of moving fast and balancing long-term vision with short-term delivery needs
  • Defining, measuring, and reporting on product success metrics is second nature to you
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player with an acute ability to inspire and lead by embracing a supportive leadership approach
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams on technical feasibility and trade-offs


Not required but considered a big plus:

  • Experience managing products with a global user base and localization requirements
  • Involvement in integrating product portfolios post-acquisition or managing product strategies during M&A activities
  • LMS Product Experience and / or exposure to the LMS market
